Installation Steps

1. Step 1: Safety precautions and preparing the vehicle: Begin by ensuring the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool. Disconnect the negative battery cable and gather all necessary tools, including jack stands, wrenches, and penetrating oil. Always wear safety glasses and gloves.
2. Step 2: Removing the old catalytic converter: Locate the existing catalytic converter in the exhaust system. Carefully disconnect any sensors and unbolt the converter from the exhaust pipes. Use penetrating oil on rusted bolts to ease removal.
3. Step 3: Installing the MagnaFlow catalytic converter: Position the new MagnaFlow converter in place, aligning it with the exhaust pipes and mounting points. Bolt the converter securely, ensuring all connections are tight but not over-torqued. Reconnect any sensors.
